are e cigarette safe

Harm reduction was the primary goal of Chinese pharmacist/inventor, Hon Lik, who developed the e-cigarette after his father died of lung cancer. Like devised a battery operated device that resembles a cigarette. It allows a user to inhale nicotine-infused vapor instead of harmful smoke from burning tobacco. E-cigarette users call it vaping. Sales have exploded since they were introduced, but distributors have had to struggle to retain the right to market their product.

The Food and Drug Administration has warned vapers against using e-cigarettes because they haven’t been properly tested; but Michael Siegel, a researcher at the Boston University School of Public Health came to a different conclusion: “The FDA and major anti-smoking groups keep saying that we don’t know anything about what is in electronic cigarettes. …The truth is, we know a lot more about what is in electronic cigarettes than regular cigarettes.”

A traditional cigarette burns on tobacco that releases around 4000 harmful elements and among those 60 are identified as major cancer causing agents and many are suspected for the same. Since electronic cigarette does not burn on tobacco which is responsible for such health hazards and hence its harmless. According to a recent study of Boston University, smoking an ecig (Electronic Cigarette) can not only be harmless but can also help a smoker to quit smoking permanently.

Proponents of electronic cigarettes often claim that electronic cigarettes deliver the experience of smoking and greatly minimize the smells and health risks associated with tobacco smoke. The base liquids including propylene glycol(PG), vegetable glycerin(VG), and polyethylene glycol 400(PEG400) have been widely used as food additive, as a base solution for personal care products such as toothpaste, and in medical devices such as asthma inhalers. However, the health effects of inhaling nicotine vapor into lungs have been a subject of uncertainty and no standard GMP procedures have been applied to the production of e-juice.

So,after recent study of Boston University we can easily say that e cigarettes are safe, harmless and can also be viewed as a way to quit a tobacco smoke!!!

e cigarette reviews

These e-cigarette reviews are written for people looking for the best electronic cigarette or looking to buy e-cigarettes. They are combined for two categories of e-cig, those with no nicotine - and those that give you a choice between nicotine and no nicotine.

As we know it is new in the market everyone checks for the reviews. one thing has to be kept in mind that reviews of e cigarette are based on their different brands ,so kindly choose brands before knowing reviews. Here you can view e cigarette reviews from the following sites whose link is mentioned below along with the my blogs reviews.

Electronic cigarette

An electronic cigarette, also known as an e-cigarette, vapor cigarette or an e-cig, is an electrical inhaler that vaporizes a propylene glycol- or glycerin- or polyethylene glycol-based liquid solution into an aerosol mist, simulating the act of tobacco smoking.

The difference is that e-cigarettes have batteries instead of tobacco, cartridges in place of nicotine, and water vapour instead of smoke! Most electronic cigarettes are available with cartridges with differing amounts of nicotine.

Looks like a cigarette, feels like a cigarette, tastes like a cigarette, but it isn't a cigarette. It's just a tar-free way to enjoy smoking!

Electronic Cigarettes is driven by a micro-electronic technology.

It operate using 3 components.
Learn how these different parts work together to produce the vapor.

Working of e cigarette
E cigarette Cartridge

The cartridge, a small plastic container with openings on each end, serves as both a liquid reservoir and mouthpiece. It allows the passage of liquid to the atomizer and vapor from the atomizer back to the user's mouth, without leaking liquid into the mouth.

Most models adopt a plastic sponge to keep the liquid in place but it is also common to use a refillable tank to carry the liquid with a separate tunnel connecting to the atomizer. When the liquid is depleted, users can refill it or replace it with another pre-filled cartridge. Some users forgo the use of liquid reservoirs and "drip" liquid directly onto the atomizer in a method known as "dripping".

E cigarette Cartomizer

Newer e cigarettes are using the two piece design now. You now have a battery and a disposable cartomizer. The old three piece method was bad because the cartridge did not hold much juice and the atomizers were burning up after one or two refills. With the new two piece you get a better throat hit and plenty of vapor. Cartomizers can hold up to 1.6 ml of e juice which is equal to approximately one pack of analog (tobacco) cigarettes

E cigarette Atomizer

The atomizer contains a small heating coil that vaporizes the liquid, and generally consists of a simple filament and wicking metal mesh to draw the liquid in. It is positioned in the center of the three components that make up the entire electronic cigarette cylinder, as the cartridge attaches to one end, and the power unit to the other. The atomizer's filament will lose efficiency over time due to a buildup of sediment, or "burns out" entirely, requiring replacement. In some models, the cartridge and atomizer component are integrated, known as a cartomizer.

E cigarette Magnet Adaptor

Magnet Adaptors are usually made of stainless steel, used to combine the e cig battery with atomizers.

Magnet Adaptors allows the conversion of e-cig batteries for use with other threaded e-cig atomizers , cartomisers or clearomizers.

E cigarette Liquid

Liquid for producing vapor in electronic cigarettes, known as e-juice or e-liquid, is a solution of propylene glycol(PG) and/or vegetable glycerin(VG) and/or polyethylene glycol 400(PEG400) mixed with flavors and mostly nicotine.

They are often sold in a bottle or as pre-filled disposable cartridges. Many manufacturers offer dozens of flavors which resemble the taste of regular tobacco, menthol, vanilla, coffee, cola and various fruits, but nicotine concentrations vary by manufacturers. The standard notation "mg/ml" is often used in labeling, sometimes shortened to a simple "mg". Nicotine-free solutions are also common.
